I lift four days per week (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri) with an upper/lower/upper/lower training split. Recently I decided to add in some “conditioning” on Saturdays. The thing is I hate doing cardio, mainly because I find it mind-numbingly boring.
But cardio is important cause, you know, health. And since I’m more inclined to take up salsa dancing than I am to start running, I decided to use battle ropes to get my Saturday sweat on. And it’s been awesome. I’m getting an extra arm day in sans the repercussions of overtraining.
